iSentia wins global CODiE Award
At an awards ceremony held as part of the Information Industry Summit in New York on 30 January (NY time), the Software & Information Industry Association announced that iSentia’s Mediaportal information and distribution platform is the winner of the 2014 SIIA CODiE Award for Best Media & Information Monitoring Solution. The awards represent the information industry’s best products, technologies, and services created by or for media, publishers, and information services providers.
Mediaportal is iSentia’s comprehensive media intelligence platform, enabling our clients to track and analyse their mentions, competitors and industry issues close to real time across online news, radio, television and print as well as providing a distribution channel for reaching key influencers across both traditional and new media.
iSentia CEO John Croll said “It really is thrilling to have won a global award for our flagship software solution. It has been eight years of continuous development, listening closely to client feedback and hard work from our product team that has led to this international recognition. Mediaportal is at the heart of our company’s strategy to provide our clients with an integrated solution across all content sources, providing them with speed, control and flexibility in support of their communication strategy. We are confident we can keep making Mediaportal even better, and stay at the cutting edge of business information solutions. The next generation of Mediaportal, incorporating social media in the same platform as all other media for the first time, will be released early this year.”
SIIA is the principal trade association for the software and digital content industries. “SIIA’s 2014 Content CODiE Award winners’ are some of the most innovative, high-impact content products out there,” said SIIA Vice President and General Manager for the Content Division Kathy Greenler Sexton. “We congratulate iSentia on being a CODiE Award winner, and thank them for the contribution they have made to the information industry.”
The SIIA CODiE Awards are the industry's only peer-reviewed awards program. The first round review of all nominees is conducted by media, publishing, and information services executives with considerable industry expertise, including members of the industry, analysts, media and bloggers, and bankers and investors. The judges are responsible for selecting the CODiE Awards finalists. SIIA members then vote on the finalist products and the scores from both rounds are tabulated to select the winners.
